The Ventient™ system by AWS is an innovative solution for windows and doors designed to assist in providing the minimum required flow of fresh air within the building envelope. Unlike the opening of windows or doors, the Ventient™ is an integrated trickle vent that prevents the associated loss of heat and increase in noise. This trait qualifies the Ventient™passive ventilation system for widespread use and application in multi-residential, aged-care, education and office projects.

The AWS Ventient™ requires no manual operation or mains power in order to function and it comes with the following features:

•    Integrated into window head or sub-head
•    Temperate sensing flow control
•    Insect, rodent and ember screens
•    Intumescent fire barrier
•    Dust/pollen filter
•    Sound absorption

It can be used as part of a passive ventilation solution, thus reducing CO2 levels to improve occupant alertness, concentration, health and wellbeing.
The AWS Trickle Vent vent provides draft-free airflow that also reduces the humidity that can lead to mould in tightly sealed buildings and homes, helping to create healthy, liveable spaces.
