Perched high on a clifftop overlooking the wide blue ocean in Sydney’s beachside suburb of Curl Curl, this stunning three-level family home was completely redesigned to incorporate comfort, grace and, of course, the sensational view.
The fully updated and contemporary home boasts huge expanses of glass and clever architectural design to ensure uninterrupted vistas while providing the homeowners with absolute privacy.
The right windows and doors were critical to the project’s success, so the team from G&K Windows was called in to help. In consultation with the architect and builder, black anodised products from the Elevate range were chosen to ensure an outstanding result. These included, amongst others, the statement Series 704B SlideMaster door and Series 424 CentreGLAZE window with 20mm toughened glass, combining high-end, luxury aesthetics with the strength required to withstand whatever nature throws at it.
Blending seamlessly with the natural environment, the new configuration and use of windows, doors and terraces provides maximum natural light and ventilation.
On the top level, a thoroughly modernised kitchen and open living spaces enjoy panoramic ocean views that stretch to the horizon.
A wide staircase winds right through the centre of the home, linking all three levels and flooding the home with year-round sunshine.
The result is a testament to the owners’ bold vision and the exceptional work of the entire fabrication, construction and architectural teams.
