Australia's Leading Range of Thermally Broken Aluminium Windows and Doors

Blue Mountains Bushfire Expo | ThermalHEART | AWS Australia

It was toward the end of winter and the Blue Mountains already encountered a bushfire attack. This was a real warning to us all for what is to come.

Over the years, hundreds of homes have been destroyed in bushfires in Australia. These homes remind us that homes in these areas need to be designed properly. The materials are available, the literature is available, and we need to communicate the importance of building materials appropriate for these areas which mitigate the risk.

If you live or plan to build in a bushfire prone area, there are building materials out there that can help you protect your home and maximise your safety.

At AWS, we have windows and doors that have been designed, tested and certified to withstand the conditions likely to occur in a BAL40 zone. Our products have been designed to help you protect your home whilst still delivering unprecedented style, efficiency and functionality for your lifestyle.

Blue Mountains Economic Enterprise (BMEE) will be presenting The Bushfire Building Conference & Expo, a two day event which will explore the key issues around planning, designing and building in a bushfire-prone area. We will be exhibiting at the Bushfire Building Conference Expo in the Blue Mountains on Saturday 19th September, come and see us to learn more.
