Montpellier Place

Located in the bustling beach suburb of Manly, 17km north-east of the Sydney CBD, are the beautiful and contemporary residences of Montpellier Place. They consist of a block of seven residential units located within St Patricks Estate, Manly.

The units are located to maximise the extensive northern views. Elevate™ Series 704 SlideMASTER™ stacker sliding doors were used throughout the front and rear façade of the units to accentuate the transparency and physical connection between the inside and out. It is these transparent boundaries that provide a sense of spaciousness that makes these units highly unique. Due to the necessity to use windows that provide superior weathering and sound insulation for the uncertainty of coastal weather, Elevate™ Series 466 Awning Windows were selected. These windows were decided upon due to the ease that the windows push out from the bottom, therefore providing ventilation with a measure of rain protection. The robust frame of the Awning Windows suit most wind load areas, and is one of the best in providing sound reduction.

To achieve the desire for unobstructed views, Elevate™ Series 464 ClearVENT™ Sashless Double-Hung Windows have been used. These windows are designed to give clear uninterrupted vision and excellent ventilation. They have been used on the northerly point of the house, where the views of Manly Beach are flawless. Builders Kell & Rigby Living were extremely pleased with the outcome of the variety of windows and believe the brief was fulfilled perfectly.
